Vulcan and Vesta Community Appearances
Vulcan Park and Museum’s mascot, “V” is proud to be the official mascot with his female companion, Vesta!
Vulcan and Vesta will make appearances at a select number of community events throughout the year. Events are carefully chosen and approved by our Marketing and/or Education Departments to ensure they align with Vulcan Park and Museum’s mission and positively reflect our brand.
We welcome your submission if you’re interested in having Vulcan or Vesta appear at your community event. Please note that while we consider all requests, we may be unable to accommodate every event due to staffing, time, and budgetary constraints.

Mascot policies
- Mascots are only available to attend events hosted by organizations, educational institutions, local government, and businesses. They are not available for private parties or weddings unless the event is hosted on-site at Vulcan Park & Museum through our Events Manager.
- All requests must be submitted through the official request form. Phone calls and emails will not be accepted. Each request will be reviewed and considered individually.
- Requests must be submitted at least two (2) weeks prior to the event date.
- The hosting organization/business must provide secured parking and a private, secure dressing room or area for the mascot.
- Mascots do not speak; they interact through gestures, posing for photos, and signing autographs.

Example:
To reserve both mascots (V and Vesta) for 3 hours: $150 per hour x 3 hours = $450.
Mileage Fee
An additional mileage fee will apply for any events over 10 miles from Vulcan Park & Museum, and these costs will be billed to the requesting organization/business.
The travel fee (includes there and back) is $1.00 per mile beyond the initial 10 miles. The maximum travel distance for our mascots is 20 miles.
