Vulcan Park and Museum’s mascot “V” is proud to be the official mascot for The World Games 2022, along with “Vesta”, his female companion. V and Vesta will make appearances at a select number of community events throughout the year. Events are selected and approved by the Marketing Department and/or the Education Department. These events must promote the positive brand that Vulcan Park and Museum represents and support Vulcan Park and Museum’s mission. Are you interested in having “V” make an appearance at a community event?

We appreciate your interest. We consider each event submission. However, please understand that we can not fulfill every request because of staff, time, and financial limitations.

Policies

  • All requests should be submitted in this format and will be considered on an individual basis.
  • Secured parking and private/secure dressing room or area for the mascot must be provided.
  • Mascots do not speak, but communicate through gestures, posing for pictures, and signing autographs.
  • Appearances are reserved at minimum of 2 hours.
  • Must be booked at least 2 weeks prior to event.
  • Mileage will be added beyond the greater Birmingham Metro area and billed to the requesting organization.
