Birmingham, Ala. – On Saturday, November 11 following the National Veterans Day Parade in downtown Birmingham, an extravagant fireworks display will light up the sky around Vulcan in celebration of our nation’s veterans.
The National Veterans Day Parade will begin in downtown Birmingham at 1:30 p.m. followed by the 20-minute fireworks celebration live from Vulcan Park at 5:30 p.m. A musical salute to our veterans will be paired with the fireworks and will air live on 104.7 WZZK.
For safety measures, Vulcan Park and Museum will close at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 11 and will reopen shortly after 6:00 p.m. Anywhere you can see Vulcan, you can see the fireworks!
The fireworks display is presented by Pyro Shows of Alabama with additional support from the City of Birmingham, the Greater Birmingham Convention & Visitors Bureau, Dale’s Seasoning, UAB Callahan Eye Hospital, Alabama Power Foundation, WBRC Fox 6 News, and Summit Media.
