BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Vulcan Park & Museum is thrilled to announce Movies on the Mountain, a new four-part outdoor movie series hosted by the Junior Board and presented by the Altec Styslinger Foundation. Set against the breathtaking city skyline, this family-friendly event invites guests to enjoy nostalgic film classics under the stars.
Taking place in April, June, August, and October, Movies on the Mountain will feature fan-favorite films, including Matilda, Monsters, Inc., Toy Story, and Hocus Pocus. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs for a cozy, open-air movie experience on the Park’s scenic overlook.
In addition to the films, guests can enjoy classic movie concessions like popcorn and cotton candy and delicious treats from local food vendors. Adults can also purchase wine and beer on-site. To add to the excitement, Vulcan Park & Museum’s beloved mascot, V, will make a special appearance.
“We are excited to bring the community together for an unforgettable movie experience,” said Cailen Raines, Junior Board Chair at Vulcan Park & Museum. “With stunning city views, great films, and fun for all ages, Movies on the Mountain is the perfect way to enjoy a night out with family and friends.
