Thunder on the Mountain New Exclusive Viewing Party to Debut for 2025 Celebration

BIRMINGHAM, AL – Thunder on the Mountain, Alabama’s most spectacular Fourth of July fireworks show, returns to Red Mountain on Friday, July 4. Vulcan Park and Museum invites the community to experience this annual tradition as the city’s sky lights up in celebration of the nation’s birthday.

For the first time in the event’s history, Vulcan Park and Museum will host an exclusive, all-inclusive viewing party on-site, giving guests a front-row seat to one of the state’s most iconic Independence Day displays.

The Thunder on the Mountain Viewing Party will take place on Kiwanis Centennial Park, offering a premium vantage point. This ticketed experience includes a catered dinner, open bar, and reserved parking with shuttle service.

“We’re thrilled to introduce this new way to experience Thunder on the Mountain in a more intimate and elevated setting,” said Cynthia Cardona, president and CEO of Vulcan Park and Museum. “With unbeatable views, great food, and an all-inclusive experience, the viewing party is the ultimate way to celebrate Independence Day.”
