Birmingham, Ala. — Award honorees have been selected for The Vulcans Community Awards 2015. The awards honor citizens who exemplify civic pride, leadership and progress within the seven-county metro area. Five award categories include: Lifetime Achievement, Servant Leadership, Hero, Game Changer and Newcomer.
The Vulcans Community Awards symbolize pride in our region and the significant impact that community members have had on the quality of life here. Recipients were chosen by an independent panel of diverse citizens. Awards will be presented at The Vulcans Community Awards dinner on October 8, 2015 at The Club.
“With nominations submitted by individuals from throughout our region, people whose good work may otherwise go unnoticed will receive recognition for their contributions to the betterment of life in our community,” said Darlene Negrotto, President and CEO of Vulcan Park Foundation.
