Birmingham, Ala. — Applications are now being accepted for the newly established Junior Leadership Board at Vulcan Park and Museum. The purpose of the Junior Leadership Board is to support the mission and needs of Vulcan Park and Museum and to assist leadership with general promotion of the organization.
Junior Leadership Board members will have many opportunities to become involved including continued development of the Vulcans On Parade community art project among other events and fundraisers associated with the well-known Birmingham institution.
Other benefits include, but are not limited to, an opportunity to possibly serve on the Board of Directors in the future, invitations to special events (members-only receptions, 2016 The Vulcans Community Awards Dinner, and more!), and the ability to expand your horizons and network with a diverse group of young professionals.
Applicants must be between the ages of 21-45, complete the application, and submit a resume for review. The term of two years may be renewed up to a maximum of two consecutive terms, pending approval of the Junior Leadership Board executive committee.
