Vulcan® Park and Museum Now Accepting New Applicants for the 2018-2019 Junior Leadership Board
Birmingham, Alabama – Applications are now being accepted for Vulcan Park and Museum’s Junior Leadership Board for the 2018- 2019 term. The Junior Leadership Board supports the mission and needs of Vulcan Park and Museum and assists leadership with general promotion of the organization.
Junior Leadership Board members will have many opportunities to become involved including continued development of the Vulcans On Parade community art project as well as a variety of events and fundraisers associated with the well-known Birmingham icon and museum.
Other benefits include, but are not limited to, an opportunity to get plugged into the Birmingham community by working on behalf of the city’s most iconic symbol, invitations to special events (members- only receptions, 2018 The Vulcans Community Awards), and the ability to expand your horizons and network with a diverse group of young professionals.

Applications will be accepted from Feb.1 until April 1, 2018 and the term will begin July 1, 2018.
Applicants must be between the ages of 21-45. To be considered, please complete and submit the Application and New Member Information forms at visitvulcan.com/support/volunteer as well as a resume for review. The term of two years may be renewed up to a maximum of two consecutive terms, pending approval of the Junior Leadership Board executive committee.
