What to Bring to Vulcan AfterTunes

Every fall we have folks that wish they would’ve brought a cooler or a chair or a blanket to Vulcan AfterTunes. It’s hard to remember everything and no one over packing, under packing and just packing in general. Vulcan thought he could help you out and give some tips on what to pack for a outdoor concert in the fall. Read below and feel free to email us with any questions! marketing@visitvulcan.com

Necessities

  1. Lawn Chair(s) – If you purchase any ticket other than VIP, it is open seating on the lawn to first come first served\
  2. Blanket – If you don’t have chairs, a blanket will do the trick! Also, if it gets a little chilly you’re covered!
  3. Light Jacket – You never know what type of weather Alabama will bring
  4. Sunglasses – look cool and also protect your eyes
  5. Sunscreen – everyone likes to be tan but no one likes to be burnt
  6. A Valid I.D. – We card everyone that comes through the gates
  7. Cash or Card – We accept both, but bring cash for the food trucks just in case
  8. Cooler – You are allowed to bring a cooler so long as there are no alcoholic beverages in it
  9. Water – Stay hydrated while you enjoy the concert. Vulcan will have beverages for purchase as well
  10. Snacks – We have food trucks on site, but a little snack never hurt
  11. Koozie/Travel Mug – to keep your drinks cold
  12. Cell Phone/Camera – Take selfies with Vulcan and the magnificent view
  13. Friends and Family – Share in a relaxing Sunday afternoon with your loved ones
  14. Frisbee/Football – Tons of open space to kick your shoes off for a game of catch
  15. Smiles & Laughter – We guarantee you’ll have a good time
