Once the bed of Birmingham’s Mineral Railroad, The Kiwanis Vulcan Trail is now a lovely 2.2 mile trail that was recently updated by Freshwater Land Trust and serves as the center of their Red Rock Trail System. On this tour, you will learn about the history of local mining and iron-making companies, as well as identify plant life while taking in beautiful views of the valley below.

The Sunday tour begins at 2:00 p.m. Registration is $25 for Vulcan Park and Museum members and $40 for non-members. Space is limited and advanced registration is required.
