A residential area, Forest Park was the first development of its size to have sidewalks and asphalt roads. Development began in 1907, and until this time the area was only used for mining. Home to many well known leaders and characters through the years, this tour focuses on the unique architecture of the houses while telling some of the stories of its past residents.
