Birmingham has been home to creative leaders in industry, healthcare, the arts and other areas. Chief among the city’s creative visionaries is Giuseppe Moretti, the artist behind Vulcan. For the Vulcan’s Visionaries patch, participants study the creative activities of several Birmingham citizens. Through a hands-on art project, participants learn how Moretti in particular tackled a gigantic task to realize his creative vision. This program will help each Girl Scout build civic awareness and creative thinking and they will receive the Vulcan Visionaries patch!
