Dr. Tommy Bice, State of Alabama School Superintendent, will be the keynote speaker at Vulcan Park and Museum’s CCRS Symposium and Workshop on October 28. Dr. Bice will be speaking on how Common Core impacts social studies curriculum. Dr. Jeremiah Clabough from UAB will provide a workshop on the use of primary sources. This event is open to all teachers and administrators, public or private. Tickets are $50 and include lunch and materials.
