I Do with a View - Valentine's Day
From romantic park picnics to sky-high proposals, Vulcan has been a symbol of romance for decades. On Valentine's Day, Vulcan Park and Museum presents "I Do with a View," Birmingham's biggest wedding event. 14 couples have a chance to get married atop Red Mountain beneath the city's iconic cast-iron landmark. It's a magical way to make memories with your loved one that will last a lifetime.
Birthday Bash - June
Celebrate Vulcan at his annual Birthday Bash! Held the first Sunday in June, this event is our biggest of the year and is fun for the whole family! Enjoy music, entertainment, kids activities, clowns, balloons, and ice cream! You won't want to miss this fantastic party!
Thunder on the Mountain 4th of July Fireworks Extravaganza
A Birmingham tradition for decades, Thunder on the Mountain is the city's annual fireworks display and the biggest in the state of Alabama! Not only does Vulcan Park and Museum organize this magnificent show, but Vulcan is the centerpiece of the program. Make sure you make Vulcan a part of your Independence Day tradition!
