Join Alabama native Tim Hollis at Vulcan Park and Museum on Saturday, June 22, 2019, at 1 p.m as he revisits iconic attractions such as Canyon Land Park and Sequoyah Caverns, the floral clock at Birmingham’s Botanical Gardens and the traffic safety torch held aloft by Vulcan in his latest book, “Lost Attractions of Alabama.” Hollis has written thirty books on pop culture history, a number of them concerning southeastern tourism. He has collected the best images from his archives as well as those across Alabama to showcase the various attractions featured in “Lost Attractions of Alabama.” Copies of the book will be available for purchase at The Anvil, our museum store.
