This educational musical performance is a combination of the traditional Klezmer melodies from Eastern European Jewish culture and African- American spirituals coupled with readings from personal testimonies of Holocaust survivors. The music and readings together parallel the rise of anti-Semitism in Nazi Germany and anti-Semitism in Europe today, while relating the Jewish experience in Europe to the African American experience in America.
